The system called Hydroponic system is a method of planting and growing crops without any soil at all and this is soilless farming with the essential nutrients to the plants are supplies along with the water that is circulating and the plants are immersed in the water column continuously and the plants actually grow organically without any pesticides at all.

Holders are installed to hold the plants and they are called Net pots also . they have enough perforations for plants to root enough and are in the circulating water for growth . Enough oxygen and nutrients are provided for the plants through this system and is very simple and effective .

How does Hydrophonics work

NFT – Nutrient Film Technique

In NFT system we suspend the plants trough a holder with perforations for the root expansion and the entire holders are suspended in the NFT channels and the plants are bathed at the roots with circulating water by way of a submersible pump in the tank were the water is kept for circulation.

Nutrients are added to the tank and is used for absorption by the plants directly with out effort and this aids and helps the plants grow faster and the plants are kept on hold by the support of Cocopeat – coconut husk or such inert material .

We also add at the bottom of the holder clay balls for holding more water for nourishment.This ensures enough nourishment , less water usage , more response by the plants as they are never under strain , resulting in more output for better returns and no pests resulting in organic way of getting the output.

As the entire construction is modular , the size and options to modify are endless and it is an advantage for Home or large farm size to grow more and grow healthy.

Water for Hydroponics

RO water is the preferred as the advantage is we start with zero risk and neutral base and adding the nutrients can be as easy as pouring water in to a trough. It is always better to do with only RO or rain water if it can be harvested without impurities , be it home or a large farm.

Contolling the PH and TDS are primary and this make the plants grow effectively and harvesting good outputs. As the need for water is minimal only since the water is circulated repeatedly with no additions other than nutrients , it is not at all a task and also cost effective only  in the long run and helps in effective growth of the plants and outcomes. Water can be different at different places and hence RO is the best suited for growing plants in Hydroponics and NFT technology is the most cost effective and efficient system practiced worldwide quite successfully.

TFA Agri does the installation and train you and others interested in the system clearly and advice you over phone during the growth phase and also hand hold you throughout the process of the first round of growing the plants right from the fixing of the system to growing the seeds in the tray to shifting to the system to updating you on the entire production cycle.

It is very simple to adapt and grow with our native intelligence itself, however we as TFA Agri will always be available and hand hold in case of doubts ,clarifications and other associated issues if any arises in the process of growing in Home Hydroponics .

On the seedling plantations, it takes around fifteen days for the seeds to grow and sprout the third leaf and upon checking the pots , will find roots coming clearly out of the bottom . Then it is ready for transplant to the system in place. Keep adding the pots/holders to the system and we have the running system in place for further growth and awaiting harvest as and when we need and upon the type of plantations.

When you feel in another 10 to 15 days most of the produce will be harvested, plan to sow seedlings in the given trays for next cycle and the same to continue every time. We can alter and modify the type of plantations as per need and opportunity to grow and harvest the bounty in an organic way.
